DOTTY LONG SKIRT is PDF digital download sewing pattern in sizes from 8-22. This is an easy pattern to make a flattering simple long skirt, slightly A-line, with two patch pockets at the back with a zip set into the back seam, a back slit and two back waist darts to give it a nice snug shape.
This long length ankle skimming length skirt is very comfortable to wear because it has no waistband- the skirt top edge is finished with a facing which sits just below the waistline. Wear in summer made in a bold cotton print such as this African medium weight cotton fabric or in Autumn winter in a medium weight wool mix, denim or corduroy fabric. It feels and looks elegant and contemporary whatever the fabric.
The download contains all the instructions and step by steps including a size guide (pictured) and finished garment measurements. Its a simple make that is suitable for beginners to dressmaking. All zip instructions are shown with an informative step by step guide.

File 2. Templates download- the pattern is divided into A4 numbered sections which can be printed at home. Instructions about easily assembling the pattern are on the first three pages including a pattern overview. (Important: Please ensure you print at 100% scale and check the test square on the first page before printing the remaining pages of the pattern templates).
File 3. If you don't fancy printing the pattern on A4 pages and sticking together, this file contains one large full scale A0 size pattern page template which can be downloaded and sent to your local printer to print off.
